Archaeological and Agricultural Treasures of the Békaa: Zahlé to Baalbek

On this tour, you will enjoy the famous archaeological sites and traditional cuisine of the Békaa Valley. Start your tour at Ksara, Lebanon's oldest winery, or at a riverside restaurant in Zahlé, a traditional red-roofed town famous for its wine, arak, and mezzes. From Zahlé, travel north through the rich agricultural lands to the imposing temple complex at Baalbek, a World Heritage Site. Along the way, you can explore some of the Békaa's lesser-known archaeological sites, including the Roman temple ruins at Fourzol, Niha, Temnine El-Faouqa, Qsarnaba, and Hadath Baalbek.
