Archaeological and Agricultural Treasures of the Békaa: Zahlé to Aanjar

On this tour, you will enjoy the famous archaeological sites and traditional cuisine of the Békaa Valley. Starting at Zahlé, a traditional red-roofed town famous for its wine, arak, and mezzes, you will travel to the Umayyad ruins of Aanjar, one of the Békaa's two World Heritage Sites. Along the way, you can get a taste of the Békaa's rich agricultural heritage with a stop at the Couvent de Tanail, with its fresh dairy products and picturesque fields and lake, and at the Tanail Property-Massaya Winery.
