From Beirut, take the highway heading south. Approximately 41km from Beirut, you will reach Saida (Sidon), the "Capital of the South" (35 minutes from Beirut). Continue driving on the highway for another 30 minutes until you reach Sour (Tyre). At Sour (Tyre), you will pass by the Al-Bass archaeological site. The public beaches are located to your left. Park your car along the sand beaches in an appropriate place. The entire journey from Beirut should take a little over one hour.
