The Lebanon that we hope will soon regain its prosperity is home to beauty, art, and creativity. It will always remain the leading country in the region for its knowledge, education, and culture. Lebanon is famous for its natural beauty, moderate weather, delicious cuisine, friendly people, and archeological sites that reflect our history and civilizations.

Lebanon offers a full range of tourism resources: from the mountains to the sea; from the beach in the summer to the snow in the winter; from cultural, religious, and health tourism to festivals, conferences, and seminars.

Tourism is a leading economic industry in the world. It provides important job opportunities for people, and it has positive social and cultural effects that result in the exchange of culture, traditions, and civilizations. The Ministry of Tourism has an important role to play at this stage in time to promote Lebanon’s tourism sector following international standards and insights, in order to modernize the system and laws related to the sector, attract investments, and enhance advertising. We must keep in mind that tourism is based on cooperation between the private and public sectors in order to formulate and develop proper policies and laws, especially in relation to encouraging investments and adopting proper tourism activities.

The Ministry of Tourism seeks to improve the image of Lebanon internationally through direct media advertising in different countries; by organizing Lebanese Weeks through associations and Lebanese Embassies; and by participating in festivals and cultural exhibitions in both Arab and non-Arab countries.

Lebanon is unique in different ways. Its capabilities and resources make it a leading tourism destination in the Middle East and, thus, it ready to welcome different investments. It is the summer residence of the Arabs and a place of comfort and relaxation. The welcoming and hospitable nature of its people has qualified Lebanon to be at the top of the list for tourists who enjoy the characteristics it is famous for.
