The Discover Lebanon Guides are a series of 14 driving routes for independent travelers who want to discover Lebanon on their own. Each route explores a different region of the country, visiting both well-known sites and off-the-beaten path destinations. We encourage you to use these guides to embark on your own journey of discovery through Lebanon's historic villages and scenic countryside.

• Each guide is divided into several PDF files, to minimize downloading time. You can download and print just the sections of an itinerary that interest you.
  
  
• The Overview file includes a description and a map of the entire driving route.
  
  
• Each Village along the route has a separate PDF file. The Village files include a detailed map showing the locations of the tourist sites and attractions you can visit. Detailed descriptions, historical information, photos, and driving directions are provided for each tourist site.
  
  
• Every tourist site is classified by theme. Based on your own interests, you can choose to visit just the types of places you are interested in – for example, just historical sites or just natural areas.
  
  
• Places to stay, eat, and shop are also plotted on the village maps.
  
  
• Your trip can be as long or short as you like, depending on how many villages and tourist sites you want to visit.
