Gibran Khalil Gibran Museum

The Monastery of Mar Sarkis (St. Sergio) in Gibran’s native town Bsharreh has been transformed into a Museum in 1975. The contents of Gibran’s studio in New York, including his furniture, his personal belongings, his private library, his manuscripts and 440 original paintings are present in the Museum. Nowadays, the hermitage of the Monastery, an old cave, became Gibran’s grave.

St Anthony-The Great Monastery’s Museum

The Museum is located in Qozhaya Valley, one of the ramifications of Qadisha Valley listed as World Heritage site by UNESCO. The Museum presents the first printing press in the Middle East dating from 1585. The Exhibition includes religious objects and vestments, in addition to gifts from kings, some clay pots and ancient agricultural tools.

Dr. Elie Sarraf Museum

The Museum contains around 150 wooden made statues from different trees in many locations in Lebanon and mosaic pieces of classical style handcrafted by Dr. Elie Sarraf.

Basbous Family Art & Sculpture Exhibition

The museum exposes a big number of sculptures performed by the brothers Basbous and various sculptors who presented their art works upon their participation in the Annual Symposium.

St. Neemet-Allah El Hardini Museum

It relates the life of the saint Neemet Allah as a teacher, worker and good example of holiness. A wing is dedicated to Brother Estefan Nehmeh.

Saint Rafka Museum

The museum exhibits the belongings and the handcrafts of Saint Rafka, as well as the ploughing and weaving tools of the nuns.

The Scientific Museum for birds, butterflies and animals
